About the role
As a Course Copywriter/Designer at The Rundown University, you'll be instrumental in creating practical AI courses and guides that transform complex concepts into accessible, actionable learning experiences. You'll conduct in-depth research on emerging AI tools and applications, craft engaging educational content, and design intuitive learning pathways that help our members quickly apply AI in their professional lives. Working closely with our AI educators and subject matter experts, you'll ensure our curriculum remains cutting-edge while maintaining our signature approachable style.
We're a scrappy, fast-paced team (we live and breathe in Slack + Loom) and work with an AI-first mentality, meaning we are constantly seeking out ways to leverage AI tools and systems into operations and our daily workflows.
The position is contracted, completely remote, offers competitive compensation, and provides significant growth opportunities.
Our ideal candidate
- Is intensely curious about AI technologies and their practical applications, with a passion for continuous learning and exploration.
- Demonstrates exceptional research skills with the ability to quickly understand and distill complex technical concepts.
- Has strong copywriting abilities with experience creating educational content that is both informative and engaging.
- Possesses a keen eye for instructional design, understanding how to structure content for optimal learning outcomes, design infographics in Canva, and polish/edit courses to ensure they're as impactful as possible.
- Extremely hardworking with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Takes initiative and thrives in autonomous work environments, requiring minimal supervision to produce excellent results.
- Has experience with or aptitude for multimedia content creation, including written guides, visual aids, and interactive elements.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and is curious about leveraging AI tools to streamline operations and workflows.
- Is a strong collaborator who can work effectively with subject matter experts to translate their knowledge into accessible content.
