Role Overview
The Renewals Manager will hold the responsibility of guiding the renewal process, spearheading retention initiatives, and nurturing customer connections to optimize contract renewals. This position plays a crucial role in advancing customer retention, fostering revenue expansion, and upholding exceptional levels of customer satisfaction at Labelbox.
Your Impact
- Maximize Retention Rate, Net New Annual Recurring Revenue, and On-Time Renewal through effective renewal management.
- Lead contract renewal negotiations to achieve successful, timely renewals.
- Provide accurate weekly forecasts on renewals and associated risk.
- Manage the complete renewals process, and collaborate effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal teams to propel contract renewals and achieve revenue objectives.
- Execute customer retention strategies, programs, and initiatives aimed at boosting renewal rates, decreasing churn, and fostering lasting customer loyalty.
- Establish robust customer relationships, conduct routine check-ins with key accounts, and promptly address any customer issues or obstacles to guarantee a smooth and seamless renewal process.
- Analyze customer data, pinpoint renewal risks, and take proactive steps to engage customers, resolve issues, enhance value realization, and secure successful renewals.
- Monitor renewal performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and offer valuable insights to senior management.
- Evaluate customer usage and ensure true-up requirements are accurately processed.
- Contribute to renewal process improvements, helping refine policies, workflows, and tools for scalability.
What You Bring
- At least 5+ years of proven experience in Enterprise SaaS and Services renewals, account management, or a related field.
- Ability to navigate SaaS contracting discussions and renewal workflows with confidence.
- Proficiency in CRM tools like SFDC.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, strong objection handling, and relationship-building skills to engage with customers, address concerns, and drive successful renewals.
- Analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis, and experience in leveraging customer data to inform renewal strategies and optimize customer retention efforts.
- A strong understanding of subscriptions and services based business models and best practices in renewals management.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment, demonstrating agility and problem-solving skills.
