About the role:
The Brand Strategy & Ops Lead will develop essential processes to power our marketing operations while helping us plan, resource, budget, and track key initiatives. This role is critical for driving operational excellence and strategic alignment across marketing and cross-functional teams (Communications, Product, Policy, and Sales), to ensure our collective efforts help us deliver against our mission to influence the transition to powerful AI that is aligned with human values and extends what is humanly possible.
Working directly with the Head of Brand Marketing, you will help design and execute the brand marketing charter, serving as a strategic thought partner and operational backbone for our growing brand team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the Head of Brand Marketing to chart the brand strategy and marketing vision for Anthropic and Claude, including building the internal team, managing agency relationships, and shaping the development and execution of brand and go-to-market programs
- Establish and manage operational rhythms of business to strengthen and scale the brand marketing organization
- Develop close relationships across the company, acting as a central point of contact to ensure marketing strategies are well-aligned with overall business goals
- Lead change management, enablement, and internal communications across marketing and with stakeholder groups
- Be a bridge, helping to build influence and execute on brand priorities across the organization through strategic thought-partnership and excellent operational support
- Maintain and optimize marketing processes, workflows, and systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate on resource planning, budget management, and performance tracking for brand marketing initiatives

- Have 10+ years of experience working in the fast-moving technology sector, with significant experience in marketing operations, brand strategy, or related fields
- Have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams and agency relationships

- Have experience working with data and insights to inform brand strategy and measure impact
- Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can adapt quickly to changing priorities

- Have a knack for bringing order to chaos and an enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality
Strong candidates may also:
