Meta is seeking an HR Director to support it’s AI organizations. The role will partner directly with the Head of AI, as well as the GenAI and FAIR leadership teams. The ideal candidate will be expected to drive hands-on and strategic level impact to support the aggressive scaling of AI teams and orgs. This role will play a key role in the recruiting, retention and engagement of AI leaders and technical experts, which will be critical to the success of AI at Meta. Additionally, the scaling of the org will require consistent org design diagnostics and execution while coaching leaders through change. This leader will be a key part of the AI leadership of the company and will play a role in influencing talent decisions, organizational structures, leadership development and org health to enable product success. The role will lead a team of HRBPs, support an AI population distributed globally and participate on the Family of Apps HRBP Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will serve as an internal People@ AI domain expert leading AI workstreams across Meta. A desire for continual deep learning of the rapidly evolving AI landscape is critical. This is a full-time role.
HR Director, AI Responsibilities:
- Provide strong organizational leadership for the People function and HRBP team
- Lead organizational effectiveness strategies for the business including strategic planning, visioning, organization design, talent management, change management and team building
- Lead and scale a team of HRBPs supporting product groups and functions across the organization
- Provide strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to members of the organization
- Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs
- Manage and facilitate the overall Performance Summary Cycle and employee engagement survey throughout the year
- Inspire, partner, and remove barriers with HR colleagues in the Recruiting, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Compensation, Legal, and HR Programs teams to implement solutions and help scale the business
- Demonstrates empathy and ability to lead across diversity & inclusion strategies
- Partner closely with regional HR partners on global strategy and execution
- Design and facilitate team and offsite meetings as needed
- Lead and provide creative solutions to strengthen the People team and enable the organization to perform effectively together
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience scaling support across a large and growing global organization
- Experience working with product development teams, as well as large software engineering populations
- Demonstrated solid judgment experience assessing risk relative to the business
- Demonstrated learning and leading in a constantly changing environment and to cultivate relationships across teams
- Proven experience leading complex, transformational changes
- Experience using data to identify insights that drive action
- Experience leading across global and/or matrixed organizations to scale
- Demonstrated experience influencing and strategically solve problems
- Expert consulting, coaching and facilitation skills
- Experience supporting teams with disparate functional teams

$292,000/year to $339,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
