The Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Operations Manager with 5–7 years of relevant experience to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Quality Operations, team leadership, and data-driven process optimization. In this role, you will oversee the full Data QA function, manage large teams, and ensure high-quality delivery across all production projects. You will be responsible for optimizing workflows, developing operational strategies, managing resource allocation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement across our quality operations.
What You will Do
- Provide end-to-end leadership for the QA team, serving as the primary reporting lead and overseeing daily QA operations.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the latest platform and tool features to continuously optimize QA processes.
- Ensure high-quality QC results across all production projects, meeting defined standards and deadlines.
- Conduct regular knowledge-sharing, performance reviews, and 1:1 sessions to foster team development and consistent QA practices.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA strategies, including the exploration and implementation of QA automation initiatives.
- Estimate, schedule, and adjust daily/weekly resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization and project delivery.
- Prepare quarterly team scaling plans aligned with future project pipelines and capacity requirements.
- Manage JIRA tracking, QA workload distribution, daily activity monitoring, weekly check-ins, and specialist agendas.
- Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training activities, ensuring the successful integration and readiness of new team members.
- Develop and present weekly performance, productivity, and status reports to management.
- Coordinate team communication with candidates, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely escalation and issue resolution.
- Work closely with Product, PC, Supply Chain, and Solution Engineering teams to align QA initiatives with business objectives.
- Support vendor selection and onboarding for new production projects in collaboration with Supply Chain Management.
- Propose tool upgrades and process enhancements to cross-functional teams based on operational insights.
- Lead benchmarking and pilot initiatives, including pricing and velocity analysis, capacity modeling, resource allocation, and assign pilot responsibilities based on team expertise, performance, and previous experience.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience; direct experience with image annotation Quality Control is preferred.
- Proven track record of managing large teams in fast-paced operational environments.
- Excellent written, verbal, and comprehension skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.
