Your Mission
At UiPath, we’re seeking a Mid Security Engineer who is passionate about improving security practices and building secure, scalable systems. Leveraging your background in cloud security, software development, and DevOps, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the security posture of our cloud environments and product offerings. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their career by working on challenging projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
What You'll Do At UiPath
- Assist in implementing security solutions aligned with UiPath’s product and cloud security strategies, particularly in multi-cloud environments and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Support security initiatives focusing on secure coding practices, application security, and cloud infrastructure protection.
- Help design secure and scalable cloud architectures with an emphasis on containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), data protection, and network security.
- Conduct code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and work with the development team to deliver secure applications.
- Support the integration and maintenance of security tools across the organization, particularly in product and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Security Operations, and IT operations teams to maintain and improve security processes and solutions.
- Contribute to enhancing CI/CD pipelines with security controls to ensure a seamless DevSecOps integration.
What You'll Bring To The Team
- 3+ years of experience in a security engineering role, with exposure to cloud security in at least one major cloud platform ( Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
- Good knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps and Github Actions) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container security tools and concepts.
- Understanding of web application vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10), exploits, and CVEs.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation for security tasks (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Basic understanding of network security controls, protocols, and data protection methods.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies and concepts.
