Founded in 2015, Shield AI is a venture-backed defense technology company whose mission is to protect service members and civilians with intelligent systems. We are seeking a Technical Recruiter/Sourcer to join our team for a 6-12 month period as our company ramps up growth. As part of our Talent team, you're charged with finding the most interesting, exceptional candidates who bring a collaborative spirit, a sense of grit, and a diversity of thought to all they do. You're responsible for sourcing and screening top candidates with great care and experience. You are creative and driven, with an interpersonal savviness that allows you to develop lasting relationships. You're also comfortable with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to make our hiring process smarter and more efficient.
Who are you?

- You're inquisitive and curious to ask the right questions in order to understand hiring needs
- You are creative and driven, with an interpersonal savvy that allows you to quickly develop and engage with candidates
- You have proven sourcing experience from first reach out through phone screen
- You know your way around LinkedIn Recruiter and other AI sourcing tools
- You know your way around an applicant tracking system (ATS) and even better if you've worked with Lever ATS
- You have technical recruiting experience and even better if it's within the AI or robotics space!
What you'll do:
- Partner directly with our talent team to source high quality candidates across a variety of disciplines
- Engage, screen, and qualify a solid handful of candidates for each role per week
- Ensure highly inclusive recruiting practices that meet diversity goals
- Track pipeline data and provide relevant updates to your team partners on all roles/projects supported
Required qualifications:
- Minimal 2+ years proven experience sourcing/recruiting within a fast-paced tech company
- ***Open to consider various levels of experience
Total package details for U.S. based positions:
- Regular employee positions: Salary within range listed above + Bonus + Benefits + Equity
- Temporary employee positions: Hourly within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days
of employment)
- Interns/Military Fellows/Part-time not eligible for bonus, benefits or equity
Total package details for International based positions (where applicable):

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. All offers are contingent on a cleared background and possible reference check.
