Your Mission
UiPath is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director of Product Operations to lead and optimize critical operational functions, including release management, localization, accessibility, and product documentation. This role is central to ensuring seamless product delivery, exceptional user experiences, and global compliance.As a key member of the leadership team, the Senior Director will report directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Customer Success. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on UiPath’s global product operations strategy from either our Bellevue, WA, or Bucharest, Romania, office.
What You'll Do At UiPath
Release Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive release management strategy, ensuring consistent, on-time, high-quality product launches.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to establish detailed release schedules, track progress, and mitigate risks proactively.
- Monitor post-release performance and manage incident responses or rollbacks as needed.
- Define and enforce release governance frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives
Localization
- Drive the end-to-end localization of UiPath products, ensuring they meet the needs of diverse global markets.
- Oversee the development and implementation of scalable localization workflows, tools, and best practices.
- Manage relationships with external localization partners and ensure the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with content, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure consistency and cultural relevance.
Accessibility
- Champion accessibility and inclusivity across all UiPath products, ensuring compliance with global standards such as WCAG and Section 508.
- Partner with design, engineering, and QA teams to embed accessibility principles into the product lifecycle.
- Conduct accessibility audits, address identified gaps, and maintain ongoing improvement plans.
- Stay informed on global accessibility trends and regulations to ensure UiPath remains a leader in inclusive design.
Documentation
- Define and execute the strategy for creating and maintaining user-focused, comprehensive product documentation.
- Lead a team of technical writers and content specialists to deliver high-quality documentation that supports user adoption and success.
- Establish metrics to evaluate documentation effectiveness and implement improvements based on user feedback.
- Explore innovative approaches, including AI-driven tools, to enhance documentation accessibility and engagement.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team focused on operational excellence in release management, localization, accessibility, and documentation.Foster collaboration across departments to drive alignment and innovation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CPO, providing strategic insights and recommendations to optimize product operations.
- Represent UiPath’s operational excellence to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Required
What you'll bring to the team
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in product operations, release management, or a related field, including significant leadership experience.
- Proven track record in managing global release management programs.
- In-depth knowledge of localization processes, tools, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., WCAG, Section 508).
- Demonstrated expertise in managing technical documentation for complex software products
Preferred
- Experience in SaaS or enterprise software environments, particularly robotic process automation (RPA).
- Familiarity with UiPath products and the automation industry.
- Knowledge of AI-driven technologies in localization, accessibility, or documentation.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
