Your Mission
Your mission: you as a
Global Process Optimization Lead will drive the strategic transformation of global business processes, with a focus on the core processes and systems (SFDC, SAP, Workday). As the bridge between process excellence and IT enablement, you will play a critical role in driving end-to-end process standardization, automation and you will focus on aligning processes across key functions (RTR, OTC, PTP, H2R) with system capabilities while ensuring compliance with SOX regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate extensively with Business Operations, Finance Operations, IT Operations, and COE to drive efficiency, governance, and adoption of best practices globally.
The role requires a deep understanding of business process optimization, CRM and ERP knowledge (particularly SAP S/4HANA), and a proven ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
What You'll Do At UiPath
Strategic Process Design and Leadership:
- Develop and execute a global strategy for end-to-end process optimization across critical business functions, aligning with the organization's digital transformation and SFDC, S/4HANA, Workday implementation objectives
- Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows at task level and design optimized, automated solutions in collaboration with Finance Ops, Business Ops, and IT Ops teams
- Establish and manage a process governance framework to ensure standardization, scalability, and compliance
- Act as a thought leader, driving innovation in process design and leveraging technology to achieve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Identify key process pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation, leveraging a data-driven approach
- Embed SOX-compliant controls into S/4Hana workflows, including approvals, segregation of duties, and audit trails
- Utilize Signavio to document, visualize, and manage end-to-end process flows, ensuring process alignment across global teams
- Collaborate with IT Ops to validate system configurations, ensuring automated controls meet audit requirements
- Oversee exception monitoring and reporting tools in partnership with COEs to support real-time compliance oversight
S/4HANA Transition Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of S/4HANA into the organization’s IT and business landscapes, as well as the CRM revision and its related processes
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to align process designs with S/4HANA best practices and capabilities
- Develop process documentation, including process maps, RACI matrices, and standard operating procedures, to support system configuration and training
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary interface between IT and business teams to translate business needs into process requirements and technical solutions
- Partner with functional leaders (Finance Ops, PTP, RTR, H2R) to identify opportunities for process optimization and harmonization
- Facilitates stakeholder alignment sessions to drive consensus on process designs and priorities
Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a key liaison between business teams and IT, translating business needs into technical solutions and vice versa
- Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of optimized processes and S/4HANA capabilities across the organization
- Establish key performance indicators and metrics to measure the success of process improvements and the S/4HANA transition
- Monitor, analyze, and report on process performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement post-implementation
- Mentor and guide cross-functional teams and process owners in adopting best practices and driving process excellence
- Provide regular updates to the Chief Information Officer and executive leadership on the progress, challenges, and outcomes of process optimization initiatives
- Deliver clear, concise, and actionable insights to support decision-making
Qualifications& Experience
What you'll bring to the team
- 4+ years of experience in process optimization, CRM and/or ERP implementation, or a similar role, with a focus on SAP (S/4HANA preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Proven track record of leading global projects and process optimization initiatives
- Strong knowledge of sales, finance, procurement and other core business functions in the context of ERP systems
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and change management frameworks
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills
