The Opportunity
To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Legal Analyst to join our Legal team. Under the supervision of our attorneys, this individual will help us advise on cutting-edge legal issues, build a world-class legal infrastructure, negotiate important commercial agreements, and collaborate closely with our vendors and partners. This person will be critical to building out Grammarly’s Legal team. They will also have opportunities to work cross-functionally with our Procurement, Marketing, and Product teams.
As a Legal Analyst, you will:
- Triage a high volume of daily contract-related inquiries.
- Review, draft, and negotiate various supplier and vendor contracts, including SaaS, professional services, consulting, and marketing agreements.
- Respond to inquiries regarding terms in existing contracts and assist stakeholders in understanding contract provisions.
- Work with our Legal Operations team to help support the Legal team's use of technology tools, including CLM and AI-assisted reviews.
- Contribute to developing, improving, and maintaining contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and self-help resources.
- Assist with special projects to support broader Legal team initiatives and company goals.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in contract negotiation and management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Process-oriented mindset with experience improving contracting workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Displays extraordinary organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently with minimal guidance while recognizing when to escalate issues within or outside of the Legal team.
- Familiarity with Ironclad and Streamline is a plus, though not required.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.
Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.
United States:
Zone 1: $125,000 – $172,000/year (USD)
