About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Center Commission and Quality to collaborate closely with the construction team and ensure our data center projects meet operational excellence standards. This role involves overseeing the design, installation, and testing of various components and systems, including mission-critical systems like generators, UPS Systems and electrical distribution equipment, redundancy protocols, cooling systems to include Chillers, CDU's etc. The individual will be responsible for reviewing design packages, conducting equipment tests, and ensuring the highest operational efficiency in our data centers. This role will also require direct experience in managing data center construction projects with a strong emphasis on MEP systems, as well as a deep understanding of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and redundancy protocols. Strong project management knowledge (scheduling, risk management) is preferred.
You will ensure projects are completed on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
This is a hybrid position, with up to 50% travel required.
What you Need for the Role:
- 10+ years of experience in MEP commissioning, within data centers or critical facilities.
- Strong understanding of data center systems, BMS/EPMS and MEP building systems.
- Familiarity with relevant design and local codes, as well as industry standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ASHRAE).
- Excellent business acumen and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with commissioning software/tools is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and assertive personality to ensure timely process completion.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with contractors, clients, and internal departments.
- Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset, with experience handling mission-critical environments.
- Electrical and low voltage equipment coordination and commissioning or quality assurance experience.
- Ability to work onsite full-time and effectively communicate with the client and internal stakeholders.
- A valid driver's license is required with no significant MVA points/violations.

- Willingness to travel 50% and respond to after-hours communications in emergencies.
What You'll Do in this Role:
- Operate with safety at the forefront of all construction initiatives.
- Serve as the client/owner’s (CoreWeave) construction staff overseeing the work of general contractors, collaborating with designers as necessary, and vendors.
- Monitor and manage project tasks, tracking budget, schedule, and scope.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, documenting design bases and facilitating communication during commissioning activities.
- Review all written documentation submitted to clients.
- Read, analyze, and interpret complex construction documents.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing commissioning plans as needed for construction phasing.
- Coordinate and conduct pre-construction commissioning meetings.
- Attend construction progress and pre-installation job-site meetings to gather relevant information.
- Review meeting minutes for any necessary revisions and assist in resolving discrepancies related to design intent.
- Collaborate on the commissioning schedule and integrate it with the master project schedule.
- Thoroughly review design documents at the end of the Construction Documents Phase and drive necessary design changes.
- Develop comprehensive commissioning specifications for all commissioned equipment.
- Assist in the enforcement of the construction contract with the client to minimize costs and seek to obtain the lowest reasonable costs for the project.
- Inspect field installations and witness functional tests; conduct site visits as necessary.
- Coordinate with IT for control systems issues and oversee the execution of commissioning tests.
- Assist in developing and executing commissioning test procedures to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Help establish engineering standards and best practices.
- Perform readiness reviews to support overall building acceptance.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions to leadership teams and clients.
- Review final third-party commissioning reports.
- Travel to sites, client meetings, and training as required.
- Assist in scheduling Factory Acceptance/Witness tests with development staff.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $180,000-$205,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
