YOUR MISSION:
As a Senior Agent Integration Engineer for VoIP systems at Parloa, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our customers to realize value from our platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing seamless VoIP and telephony-based solutions, ensuring that Parloa's voice AI platform is integrated effectively within diverse enterprise contact centers and telephony infrastructures. You will also engineer scalable, cloud-based services and tools to meet unique client needs. As a key member of our Agent Integration Engineering team, you will act as a bridge between our engineering, product, customer success, and sales teams, driving technical collaboration to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that enhance the value and impact of the Parloa VOIP platform.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders and internal teams to design end-to-end technical architectures, ensuring seamless integration of Parloa into complex enterprise environments with a focus on real time communications, especially telephony.
- Serve as the bridge and voice between customer requirements and internal engineering teams, translating business needs into actionable technical specifications and scalable solutions.
- Advise customers and non-technical colleagues on technical topics, including conversational AI, backend integrations, telephony systems (e.g., SIP trunking, interconnections, DIDs, call flow design, agent queuing).
- Leverage your understanding of cloud technologies and network stacks to guide customers in deploying and scaling Parloa solutions within their existing infrastructure.
- Utilize scripting and API integration skills to rapidly prototype and connect various systems, ensuring smooth end-to-end solutions for customers.
- Continuously evaluate customer feedback and product performance to propose improvements. Collaborate closely with the product team to share insights and help shape Parloa's roadmap.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with VoIP systems
- Strong understanding of telephony interconnection, TCP/IP Networks and related protocols (SIP, RTP, RTCP, TLS, WebRTC)
- Extended exposure to one or more major communication platforms (e.g., Genesys, Avaya, Cisco UC) is highly desirable.
- Experience with cloud technologies and services.
- Autonomous and scrappy working style. You are able to take ownership of a task from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Spanish is a plus.
- Strong interest in generative and conversational AI.
