The Regional Readiness Advocate will play a pivotal role in making our technology accessible and actionable for diverse global users, tailoring support to fit regional needs.
The Readiness team is responsible for driving product adoption, fostering community, and serving as a trusted resource for OpenAI’s users in your region. You’ll work closely with customers, partners, and OpenAI’s internal teams to deliver regionally tailored education, insights, and guidance that support successful deployments of our AI solutions. This role requires a combination of technical aptitude, cultural awareness, and a deep commitment to customer success.
Responsibilities
Lead our International Readiness team: Support and grow a diverse team of Readiness Managers who help scale our enablement support, content efforts, and community engagement.
Enable at scale: Prioritize, assign, and collaborate with the team to deliver the highest value one to many content to support our employees and ensure that customers learn from every interaction with OpenAI.
Partner with Sales and Success: Support our highest value opportunities with consultations to enable our customers to become experts in the product
Partner with marketing: Support our marketing efforts from events to product launches to drive adoption of new features and enable users on new capabilities and workflows
Advocate for users with the product team: Help continuously improve internal processes to bring insights from the team back to product
Ideal Background and Experience:
OpenAI expertise and real-world experience using it at work
7+ years leading customer-facing technical roles, such as Customer Success, Developer Relations, Technical Account Management, or Product Evangelism, ideally in SaaS, AI, or developer-focused technology.
Regional Expertise: Demonstrated experience working within your region, with a nuanced understanding of the cultural, regulatory, and business dynamics that shape local AI adoption.
Technical Aptitude: Solid foundational understanding of AI, machine learning, or highly technical software. While deep expertise is not required, familiarity with OpenAI’s technology (or comparable AI products) is highly valued.
Comfort level with up to 25% travel time
