Role Overview
We’re looking for a Community Operations Manager to serve as our digital radar. You’ll be responsible for monitoring and analyzing external chatter about Labelbox across public forums like Reddit, Blind, Glassdoor, Twitter/X, Discord, and other relevant platforms.This isn’t a community engagement or social media role. It’s about listening, identifying trends, flagging risks, and delivering high-signal insights to stakeholders across Talent, Brand, and Product.
Your Impact
- Community Strategy & Ownership
- Define and execute Alignerr’s community engagement roadmap across Reddit, Slack, Discourse, and other channels.
- Set community guidelines, tone, and moderation standards.
- Reddit Engagement & Moderation
- Act as a visible, authentic presence in r/alignerr: responding to questions, hosting AMAs, and escalating issues.
- Collaborate with mods/admins to manage subreddit health (spam, scams, off-topic posts).
- Post weekly updates, polls, and roadmap notes to keep the community engaged and informed.
- Trust & Support
- Serve as the frontline liaison between Alignerrs and internal teams: collect feedback, surface issues (payments, onboarding, project access), and close the loop with transparent updates.
- Build trust by addressing pain points directly and escalating urgent cases quickly.
- Content & Knowledge Sharing
- Develop community-facing resources (FAQs, onboarding guides, payment explainers).
- Benchmark Labelbox against competitors and peer companies in the AI / tech space.
- Collaborate with teams across People, Brand, Marketing, and Product to inform decisions and shape strategy.
- Community Health & Analytics
- Monitor community sentiment, activity levels, and top issues.
- Report metrics weekly to leadership: engagement, satisfaction, response times, issue trends.
- Track and monitor mentions of Labelbox across Reddit, Glassdoor, Blind, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Discord, and other platforms.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in online community management, community monitoring, employer branding, digital strategy, recruiting, or brand/reputation management.
- Strong organizational skills — you love tagging, labeling, and turning chaos into structured insight.
- Proven experience moderating or managing Reddit communities (or similar forums).
- Excellent written communication skills with a transparent, authentic, and human tone.
- Comfort with difficult conversations: you can acknowledge criticism while steering toward solutions.
- Experience coordinating with Product, Ops, and Support teams to escalate and resolve issues.
