About the role
As General Manager of The Rundown University, you’ll oversee the growth, operations and overall success of one of the fastest growing AI education platforms in the world. You’ll own everything from strategic planning to execution, ensuring our content, workshops and partnerships deliver exceptional value to learners, creators and enterprise clients. This role is a unique mix of strategy, execution and leadership. It is ideal for someone driven and kind, who thrives in a creative, and high velocity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Strategic Growth: Determine, define & execute the vision, goals and roadmap for The Rundown University, while ensuring alignment company wide priorities.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day to day operations, identify process improvements & durability to ensure scalable delivery of content.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, manage & mentor a growing remote team of developers, educators, contractors & community managers.
- Content & Product Strategy: Work closely with your education & product teams to develop innovative learning solutions rooted in real world AI applications for all learning levels.
- Performance Tracking: Set and monitor key success metrics (revenue, habit scores, churn, retention, NPS) and use insights to guide future decisions.
- Community Engagement: Foster a thriving learning community that empowers users to experiment openly with AI and share their learnings.
- Cross-Company Synergies: Maintain robust knowledge of all activity across The Rundown organization and constantly seek opportunities for cross-company collaboration.
Our ideal candidate
- Proven experience leading operations, growth or product at an education, tech or media startup.
- An AI first thinker constantly thinking about what we can automate, you'll be expected to command an army of AI agents/tools working alongside you.
- Genuine enthusiasm for making AI education accessible to billions of people.
- Outstanding leadership & communication skills, you know how to rally & inspire teams, you take pride in setting clear expectations & practicing radical candor to provide constructive feedback.
- Creative thinker with a bias towards action, able to thrive in ambiguity & fast paced environments.
- Experience building or scaling digital products & communities is a huge plus.
