AI Solutions Managers (ASMs) play a critical role in driving Global Operations’ AI strategy. They set the strategy for how AI will transform our operations–both in our workflows and throughout our workforce–and leverage their domain expertise, executive communications and program management skills to implement and scale solutions to drive top-line key performance indicators. They work cross-functionally across a complex set of executive stakeholders, including Operations, Engineering, Research, Data and Legal and Compliance to accelerate progress. ASMs help to shape our understanding of how AI and human operations are evolving and design novel new approaches that will drive impact for Operations in the years to come.
AI Solutions Manager Responsibilities:
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the broad AI landscape and LLM development requirements
- Demonstrate an understanding of supported domains, scope measurement methodology, and conduct analysis of the problem space to inform strategy
- Work with Operations teams to identify scalable AI solutions and process improvements that deliver on Global Ops key performance indicators including efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage multiple product and operational priority programs using Agile best practices
- Build effective cross-functional relationships with other teams, including product, engineering, data, legal and research scientists, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment
- Provide regular updates and reporting to executive leadership on the progress and performance of solutions and operations
- Deliver large scale AI-enabled operations with a very high degree of focus on quality and precision in a very dynamic and evolving technical space
- Contribute to a work environment of ownership and care
 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in operations, strategy or consulting experience
- 3+ years of experience in annotation for ML/AI model development and / or large language model development. Understanding of the model development process and its importance in developing accurate and effective ML/AI models
- Experience and domain expertise in Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality, Legal and Compliance, Trust & Safety or Support
- Experience working in a deadline-driven and agile environment
- Experience collaborating, influencing and driving decision making with cross-functional leaders of all levels
- Experience building and and managing a team of industry-leading professionals
- Experience problem solving and making decisions without all necessary information and data
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, finance, computer science, engineering, mathematics, economics)
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, finance, computer science, engineering, mathematics, economics)
- Experience working with large datasets and ML/AI implementation
- Experience launching 0 to 1 initiatives collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including working with research scientists and engineering team leaders
- Knowledge of industry-standard tools and technologies for data annotation and model development
- Experience working in a startup or other type of high-growth company
