About the role
We’re hiring a Short-Form Video Editor + Social Copywriter. This role is about shipping daily content, understanding what wins on each platform, and turning AI news + ideas into high-performing short-form content with strong hooks.
You’ll edit video and write the copy that goes with it - and you’ll iterate fast based on what our users (and the algorithms) reward.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and publish daily short-form videos (Reels/TikTok/Shorts)
- Rewrite those short-form videos formatted for text-based platforms (Twitter/Threads/LinkedIn)
- Write the copy for each post (hooks, captions, threads when needed) tailored to the platform
- Turn AI news, insights, and viral ideas into content formats that drive reach, retention, and shares
- Maintain a reliable content pipeline and calendar
- Track performance and iterate weekly (retention curves, completion rate, shares, saves, comments)
- Stay tapped into the AI ecosystem and proactively pitch daily content ideas
- Collaborate with the team on priorities, key announcements, and campaigns
Our ideal candidate
- US-based (strongly preferred) and can move fast with tight turnaround times
- Proven short-form editing portfolio (you know pacing, hooks, captions, and retention)
- Strong copywriting instincts for social — you can write posts that feel native and go viral
- Deep understanding of social algorithms and what drives distribution today
- Extremely consistent: you can ship daily without quality falling off
- Passionate about AI and has a pulse on what’s happening every day
