These experiences enable consumer, business and creator agents that help connect and create in new ways not imagined before.
Director, AI Research Responsibilities:
- Drive the team's goals and technical direction to pursue opportunities that make your larger organization more efficient
- Partner & collaborate with organization leaders to help improve the level of performance of the team & organization
- Contribute to research that enables learning the semantics of data (images, video, text, audio and other modalities)
- Help Advance the science and technology of intelligent machines
- Provide both technical and organizational leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of technical industry experience
- Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, leading technical organizations, including performance management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience holding a faculty, industry, or government researcher position in a role with primary emphasis on AI research
- PhD in the following fields: Computer Vision, Robotics, State Estimation, 3D Reconstruction, Object Tracking, Physics based models, or a related field
