The Country Manager – Greece serves as Shield AI’s senior in-country leader, responsible for operational execution, customer success, and long-term business growth. The role ensures compliant delivery of active contracts, coordinates cross-functional teams to support deployed systems, and acts as the primary interface with government, military, and industry stakeholders. The Country Manager owns domestic V-BAT opportunities while enabling broader portfolio growth in partnership with regional and product leads. By maintaining continuous on-the-ground leadership, the role protects program performance, strengthens customer trust, and drives sustained expansion of Shield AI’s presence in Greece.
What you'll do:
- Serve as Shield AI’s senior in-country representative in Greece, ensuring compliant execution of all activities while representing the company with senior military, government, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate all in-country cross-functional efforts, acting as the central “quarterback” across Business Development, Government Relations, Program Management, Legal, Contracts, PX, and Customer Operations to deliver current contracts successfully.
- Own and execute the country capture strategy, with full accountability for all domestic V-BAT opportunities and collaboration on Hivemind, X-BAT, and SVS opportunities alongside regional and product sales leads.
- Ensure operational delivery and customer success for active programs, maintaining accountability for key performance metrics, timelines, and customer satisfaction at the country level.
- Build and maintain a disciplined, up-to-date country pipeline and stakeholder engagement plan to enable sustained growth and follow-on business.
Required qualifications:
- Deep technical and operational knowledge of the V-BAT UAS, including employment concepts, payloads, training, sustainment, and fielded operations.
- Proven experience operating in complex defense, aerospace, or national security environments, preferably with deployed systems and active government customers.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate stakeholders across business development, engineering, operations, legal, and government relations.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with experience engaging senior military, government, and industry leaders in high-stakes environments.
