About the team
OpenAI’s mission is to build safe artificial general intelligence (AGI) which benefits all of humanity. This long-term undertaking brings the world’s best scientists, engineers, and business professionals into one lab together to accomplish this.
In pursuit of this mission, our Go To Market (GTM) team is responsible for helping customers learn how to leverage and deploy our highly capable AI products across their business. The team is made of Sales, Solutions,, Support, Marketing, and Partnership professionals that work together to create valuable solutions that will help bring AI to as many users as possible.
About the role
This role is based in our NYC office 3x a week. We offer relocation assistance to new employees.
This role sits at the intersection of Product and GTM.
We are seeking a GTM Product Enablement Manager who will own how OpenAI’s products are translated into field execution. This is not a traditional enablement role focused on trainings or content—this role is responsible for building the systems, workflows, and feedback loops that make rapidly evolving products understandable, sellable, and scalable across the GTM organization.
You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure that product velocity translates into GTM readiness. You will design and operationalize how teams ramp, how new products launch, and how insights from the field shape future product and GTM strategy.
In this role, you will:
Own the end-to-end enablement system across onboarding, product launches, and continuous learning
Translate complex technical products (APIs, AI systems, workflows) into clear GTM narratives, use cases, and playbooks
Build scalable systems—not just content—that enable teams to keep pace with rapid product development
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to understand new capabilities and ensure effective field readiness
Establish feedback loops from GTM → Product to inform roadmap, positioning, and packaging decisions
Define and track key metrics (ramp time, product adoption, deal velocity) to measure enablement effectiveness
Identify gaps in GTM workflows and build solutions that improve how teams sell, position, and deploy products
Leverage tools, automation, and AI to scale enablement efforts across the organization
You might thrive in this role if you have:
Experience building and scaling enablement programs, systems, or workflows in a fast-paced environment
Strong product intuition and the ability to quickly understand technical products and translate them into business value
Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, or Marketing teams
Deep operational rigor, with experience defining KPIs and measuring impact
A systems mindset—you think in scalable solutions, not one-off deliverables
Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-moving environments
High ownership and the ability to move between strategy and execution seamlessly
