Hey! We're The Rundown, the world's largest AI community. We inform millions of people around the world about everything going on in AI, why it actually matters, and how you can apply it to your work and life.
Since launching in January 2023, our flagship daily newsletter and social media channels engage with millions of people each day, and our AI University gets hands-on and educates thousands of members how to use the tools that are quickly becoming a part of daily work.
Our mission is to help 1 billion people work faster using AI and contribute to a more productive society. If you share our passion, we'd love to chat! ❤️
About the role
You'll join our team of AI Educators at a fast-growing media company, teaching thousands of members how to actually put AI to work. This is a hands-on, on-camera doing role. You'll live in the tools every day, build workflows worth teaching, and turn them into video lessons, live sessions, and feedback that members feel in their own work.
You'll do this alongside other educators who are just as AI-pilled as you, with direct reach to one of the largest AI audiences in the world. If you're the kind of builder who could run your own channel but would rather do it with a team, an audience, and real resources behind you, this is that.
Open to full-time or part-time, and to both generalists and deep specialists.
Key responsibilities
- Explore AI every day: test new tools and models, build and stress-test novel workflows, and surface what's actually worth our members' time.
- Explore and share: script, record, and publish (we can help with editing).
- Deliver on time: maybe the only thing we share with newspapers from 100 years ago is deadlines. As a media company, your team relies on you delivering great work on time.
- Engage members: run live office hours and answer member questions in real time, review and comment on student work, giving specific, useful feedback.
- Help others adopt and upskill: turn what you learn into guides, courses, and workshops alongside the education team.
Our ideal candidate
- AI-pilled: you use these tools daily by choice, not because a job asked you to.
- Camera-ready: can script and record clear, engaging video without a production crew.
- Explorer at heart: comfortable on camera and thinking out loud while teaching.
- Generalists and specialists welcome: either a strong generalist across the AI landscape, or a specialist with a corner you know better than almost anyone.
- Strong communicator: a clear writer who can explain hard things simply.
What we offer
- A global team that is passionate about the future of AI, media & education.
- Competitive compensation, flexible hours & fully remote work.
- Direct reach to one of the largest AI audiences in the world.
- Room to specialize and build a public reputation around your work.
Location Fully remote. Our team members live in Canada, USA, UK, Switzerland, and more.
How to apply
Share your resume, linkedin profile, or personal website. Then tell us a bit about how you use AI everyday.
Bonus: include a portfolio of other content you've made (videos, threads, guides, courses).
