Your Mission
When companies adopt automation with UiPath, there are countless ways to combine the products and deploy them: in cloud, on-premises as a platform, on-premises as individual products, and hybrid. Automation Infrastructure Engineers have to be able to analyze the infrastructure requirements, design the architecture according to the solution specs and the company's policies, then deploy, maintain and upgrade it.
UiPath is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Infrastructure Engineer, who will be an integral member of Greater China (Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China) regional Professional Services team and responsible for automation related implementation, upgrading, migration, troubleshooting as well as enablement activities for our customers and partners, thereby increasing the adoption, consumption and expansion of UiPath software. Your focus and expertise is in infrastructure area, but you are also expected to be a project leader and customer advisor when needed.
The successful candidate will be a logical and organized professional with a deep understanding of professional services, a track record of delivering impact to customers, and a passion for ensuring our customers achieve their desired outcomes. This role requires a strong bias towards action, an ability to navigate ambiguity and leadership skills to drive results through other internal & external teams.
What You'll Do At UiPath
- Develop a deep understanding of the UiPath Platform and its functionalities
- Engage with clients in both technical pre- and post-sales activities to ensure UiPath adoption
- Design system architecture tailored towards the client’s requirements which encompasses the UiPath suite of products as well as the various third party applications supported by our API’s
- Learn and utilize new exciting technologies and how they integrate with UiPath
- Assist Sales team with infrastructure and expertise support for server installation requirements and constraints during RFI/RFPs and POC stages.
- Provide Infrastructure support to internal teams, customers and partners’ implementation teams throughout their project implementation phase
- Prepare to deliver online and on-site trainings to customers and partners
- Document solutions and maintain best practices
- Remain up to date on product releases, roadmap and act on them (from product to customers - education, from customers to product - feedback and feature requests)
- Act as project manager to leverage UiPath, partners and customers’ resources to fulfill delivery requirements
What You'll Bring To The Team
- Deep infra experience - 10+ working exp in infrastructure area, should be practitioner and expert in this field both On-Prem & Cloud, you should be able to cover most of below items:
- Linux - Knowledge of the Linux OS, including file system, package & process management, logging, text manipulation, etc
- Deep knowledge and practical experience with Kubernetes
- Windows Server - Installation and configuration(AD domain network)
- SQL server, Elastic Search, Active Directory, PKI, REDIS (or similar), load balancer solutions
- Cloud - Experience with public and private cloud such as AWS, Azure and GCP
- Virtualization - Maintaining and updating VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments
- Remote Desktop Services - Experience supporting and troubleshooting RDS, RemoteApp and Citrix environments (on-prem and cloud)
- Network - Palo Alto, Sophos, FortiNet, Draytek, Juniper, Cisco firewalls
- Project management exp/skill - 2+ years project management exp, good communication skill
- Language – Chinese – native speaker / English – fluent
- Mandatory – China Home Return Certificate / can travel to Hong Kong and Mainland China for project delivery
- Qualifications - Relevant networking, infrastructure and Microsoft qualifications/certification (CCNA, JNCP, MCSA, VCP)
- Automation experience – would be an advantage If you have 2+ years in RPA (UiPath, AA, BP) related experience
