What will you be doing at DeepL?
In the Salesforce Platform team, we enable GTM Teams in driving growth for DeepL by building secure, reliable and scalable solutions on the Salesforce CRM Platform and Hubspot Platforms and other enterprise revenue systems. The result is a system architecture that reflects our business processes and allows every user to unlock the full potential of Salesforce.
As a Salesforce Manager, you will be pivotal in the dynamic development of our Salesforce infrastructure system. Your role will involve designing and implementing innovative solutions to ensure revenue data scalability and trust. Combining strong leadership with hands-on technical expertise, you will guide the Salesforce Platform Team through complex projects, fostering a culture of technical and engineering excellence. Collaboration with business stakeholders and revenue ops will be key to ensuring seamless project delivery. This role demands a deep understanding of revenue and Salesforce processes, alongside a proactive, hands-on approach to ensure successful outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead by example, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
- Elaborate business requirements, design solutions, model and implement SFDC processes & systems in coordination with stakeholders
- Collaborate in the further development of the CRM strategy and optimization of the CRM functionalities processes in close cooperation with end users and our partners
- Responsible for supplier management and procurement
- Working closely with all departments to ensure the CRM works effectively for all aspects of the company
- Assist in the definition, documentation, and implementation of CRM-related policies and procedures
- Coordination of the roll-out of prioritised CRM projects to end users, and managing the provision of ongoing support to CRM users
- Create functional documentation during the implementation phase as well as support in documenting the status quo
Qualities we look for
- Several years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, with proven expertise in Salesforce configuration
- Experience in leading technical Salesforce teams, with a track record of managing and mentoring individual contributors
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, capable of engaging effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and non-technical audiences alike
- Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and limits
- Profound experience in architecting SaaS processes
- Experience in supplier management and procurement
- Strong consultant mindset and willingness to act as Subject Matter Expert for anything Salesforce-related
- Significant experience in Project Management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- You can think across multiple teams' requirements, multiple regions, and work cross-functionally to deliver results
- A strategic thinker who operates effectively - you can flex between analytical, strategic and operational aspects of the job
Ideally, you have one or more of the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of other CRM and support systems such as HubSpot or Zendesk
- Salesforce Certifications
