About the role
As the Head of Growth at The Rundown, you’ll be the mastermind behind scaling our readership and growing our community. You’ll manage six-figure monthly ad spend across Facebook, Twitter, influencers, newsletters, and more to optimize spend and drive high-quality traffic to our platforms.
We're a scrappy, fast-paced team (we live and breathe in Slack + Loom) and work with an AI-first mentality, meaning we are constantly seeking out ways to leverage AI tools and systems into operations and our daily workflows.
The position is contracted, completely remote, asynchronous, offers competitive compensation, and provides significant growth opportunities.
Our ideal candidate
- Has extensive experience running and scaling Facebook and Twitter ad campaigns to six-figure ad spend and beyond.
- Has experience in a growth-related role at a media or newsletter company.
- Uses analytics to guide decision-making and optimize campaign performance and ROAS.
- You’re always thinking about how to improve, scale, and grow—whether it’s ad performance, audience engagement, or new platforms.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and is curious about leveraging AI tools to streamline operations and workflows.
- You’re great at giving feedback and communicating across teams, and you enjoy working closely with creative talent.
