About the role
As a Content Writer at The Rundown, you’ll play a big role in driving our mission to empower millions of people with AI insights and tools by crafting engaging, value-first content.
You will manage and write AI-focused value-first content on X (Twitter) for millions of people.
We're a scrappy, fast-paced team (we live and breathe in Slack + Loom) and work with an AI-first mentality, meaning we are constantly seeking out ways to leverage AI tools and systems into operations and our daily workflows.
The position is contracted, completely remote, asynchronous, offers competitive compensation, and provides significant growth opportunities.
Our ideal candidate
- AI Enthusiast: You stay up-to-date with the latest in AI and actively engage with the X (Twitter) community, driven by curiosity and a passion for tech.
- Skilled Communicator: You have a knack for quickly grasping technical concepts and explaining them in an accessible, engaging way that resonates with a broad audience.
- X Platform Expert: You’re experienced with writing viral Twitter content or have a track record of creating compelling, high-engagement content, ideally with 1-2 years of experience on the platform.
- Adaptable and Strategic: You keep a close eye on social media algorithms and are ready to adjust strategies on the fly to maintain reach and impact.
- Thrives in a Remote, Agile Environment: You flourish in fast-paced, scrappy settings, collaborating seamlessly with a remote-first team using Slack and Loom.
- Clear Communicator and Team Player: You’re an effective communicator, comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback to elevate team output.
- Full-time commitment: You’re ready to fully dedicate yourself to this role, working directly with our team (no agencies or part-time contractors).
