Perplexity is seeking an experienced Full Stack AI Software Engineer to help revolutionize the way people search and interact online. In this role, you'll translate cutting-edge AI advances into tangible products for our users.
Responsibilities
- Propose novel product features that can be built with LLMs and integrate them into our product.
- Stay up-to-date on new features released from external LLM providers and in house researchers.
- Improving the speed and quality of our codebase and engineering processes to ensure we consistently deliver an amazing product experience.
- Collaborating across disciplines, including researchers, engineers, product managers, and designers, to fill gaps and ship products.
Qualifications
- Strong programming skills with the ability to work across the full stack. Our tech stack includes Python, NextJS, TypeScript, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, and Postgresql.
- Understands how to make tradeoffs in using different models.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
- A passion for shipping quality products.
- Proven track record of working with LLM API’s and prompting challenges.
- 2+ years of industry experience.
The cash compensation range for this role is $160,000 - $240,000.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity is part of the total compensation package.
