The PyTorch Domains team is at the forefront of machine learning innovation, community engagement and open-source development. Our team combines cutting-edge ML engineering with community-driven initiatives to advance the field of artificial intelligence. In particular, we are looking for someone to support the TorchAudio library, PyTorch’s main API for working with audio data.
Software Engineer - PyTorch Domains Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to high-impact projects at the intersection of ML, PyTorch development and community engagement.
- Develop and maintain TorchAudio, the industry standard for working with audio data in PyTorch.
- Initiate and grow new projects and communities within the PyTorch ecosystem.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Research experience in machine learning or digital signal processing.
- Programming experience in Python and hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Experience with architectural patterns of large scale software applications.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- A PhD in AI, digital signal processing, computer science, data science, or related technical fields.
- First author publications at peer-reviewed AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, and ACL) or DSP conferences.

$85.10/hour to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
