About the Role:
Anthropic is seeking a talented Recruiting Analytics Engineer to join our growing Recruiting Operations team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in leveraging data and analytics to enhance our recruiting processes, drive data-informed decision-making, and support our mission to build safe and beneficial AI systems. You'll work closely with our Recruiting, Operations, and People Analytics teams to develop innovative solutions that improve our ability to attract, assess, and hire top talent.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting systems to provide actionable insights on recruiting metrics and trends (we currently use BigQuery and Looker Studio)
- Collaborate with recruiting leadership to identify key performance indicators and create data visualizations that inform recruiting strategies
- Implement and optimize applicant tracking system (ATS) integrations and other recruiting tools to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Conduct in-depth analyses of recruiting data to identify patterns, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement in our hiring processes and present out using best storytelling with data practices
- Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to enhance candidate sourcing, screening, and matching processes
- Create and maintain documentation for data processes, metrics definitions, and analytics methodologies
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure data privacy and security best practices are followed in all recruiting analytics initiatives
- Continuously research and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve our recruiting analytics capabilities
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have a strong background in data engineering, analytics, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience applying these skills in a Recruiting or People Analytics context
- Are proficient in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or Power BI)
- Have experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR information systems (HRIS)
- Possess a deep understanding of recruiting metrics, funnel analysis, and talent acquisition processes
- Are skilled at translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Have experience with machine learning and predictive modeling techniques
- Are passionate about using data to drive decision-making and process improvements
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Have excellent communication skills and can build strong relationships across teams
- Are excited about Anthropic's mission and the potential impact of AI on society
Strong candidates may also:
- Have experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)
- Be familiar with data privacy regulations and best practices for handling sensitive information
- Have knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques for analyzing unstructured data in recruiting contexts
- Possess experience with A/B testing and experimental design in talent acquisition
- Demonstrate a track record of implementing innovative data-driven solutions in recruiting or HR
