About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced software engineer with deep expertise in distributed systems to join our core backend engineering team. In this role, you will design and implement highly scalable, fault-tolerant systems that underpin our suite of consumer-facing products, ensuring reliable and seamless experiences for millions of users worldwide.
Responsibilities
Architect and develop large-scale, distributed systems for high availability and performance.
Optimize data pipelines and communication protocols to handle massive volumes of data.
Ensure reliability by implementing robust monitoring, alerting, and failover strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address scalability challenges and drive system improvements.
Stay updated on emerging distributed systems technologies and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong computer science fundamentals, and solid software engineering skills in languages such as Python, C++, Java, Rust or related technologies.
Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructures (GCP preferred) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Expertise in streaming, video processing, or messaging technologies is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
