About the role
For this position as Writer - Robotics/Tech at The Rundown, you'll be responsible for researching and writing or editing our newly launched bi-weekly robotics and tech-focused newsletters. We're a scrappy, fast-paced team (we live and breathe in Slack + Loom) and work with an AI-first mentality, meaning we are constantly seeking out ways to leverage AI tools and systems into operations and our daily workflows.
The position is contracted, completely remote, asynchronous, offers competitive compensation, and provides significant growth opportunities.
Our ideal candidate
- You stay up-to-date with the latest in AI, Robotics, and Tech and actively engage with the X (Twitter) community, driven by curiosity and a passion for tech.
- You have a knack for quickly grasping technical concepts and explaining them in an accessible, engaging way that resonates with a broad audience.
- You keep a close eye on newsletter metrics and feedback and are ready to adjust strategies on the fly.
- You read our flagship AI newsletter and understand our unique brand style and what makes us loved by over 1 million AI enthusiasts.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and is curious about leveraging AI tools to streamline operations and workflows.
- You’re an effective communicator, comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback to elevate team output.
- You’re ready to dedicate yourself full-time to this role, working directly with our team (no agencies or part-time contractors).
