We are seeking an exceptional Analyst on the Insider Risk and Protective Intelligence team to support and protect that mission. We work cross-functionally to deter, identify, investigate and mitigate risks to Anthropic’s IP and trade secrets. In this role, you will have the opportunity to strengthen our security capabilities from the ground up alongside our world-class research and security teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough all-source research/analysis in support of Insider Risk, Protective Intelligence, GSOC and Executive Protection programs.
- Expand data sources, create effective queries, and aggregate data to define the threat landscape.
- Provide clear, concise communication on complex findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Brief leadership and stakeholders on findings, assessment, and recommended next steps.
- Provide risk assessments specific to the AI research environment, considering factors such as protection of intellectual property and securing AI systems.
- Collaborate with partner security teams to refine/improve technical alerting and comprehensive protection strategies for Anthropic's unique AI research environment.
- Support iteration/evolution of security policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Anthropic's mission of safe and beneficial AI.
You may be a good fit if you have
- 8+ years of experience as an analyst in the corporate security, insider risk, military or intelligence fields.
- A passion for or interest in the safe development and deployment of artificial intelligence.
- Possess strong analytical thinking and critical reasoning skills, with the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to various audiences with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in assessing risks to people, places, and assets in a corporate environment, preferably in the tech sector.
- Expertise in all source techniques and tools, with a track record of applying them effectively.
- Are adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong candidates may also have
- Extensive experience with open-source intelligence collection platforms outside the government environment.
- Success exploring/leveraging new data sources.
- Experience working in the technology industry or with AI and machine learning companies.
- Experience contributing to a high growth startup environment.
- Specialized knowledge of risks unique to the AI sector.

- All certifications or educational credentials listed.
- Prior experience working in the AI field.
