About the role
Anthropic is seeking an exceptional leader to drive our strategic go-to-market partnership with Amazon and AWS. In this pivotal role, you will own and scale one of our most significant strategic relationships, leading a team responsible for multi-billion dollar revenue opportunities through our AWS partnership. You will work closely with senior leadership across both organizations to drive joint success, shape strategy, and accelerate the adoption of Anthropic's AI capabilities through AWS's global ecosystem.
You will build and lead a high-performing team focused on maximizing our partnership's potential while ensuring our solutions are deployed safely and responsibly. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape how frontier AI technology is commercialized at massive scale through one of the world's largest cloud providers. In this role, you will drive exponential growth in one of Anthropic's most strategic partnerships while shaping how enterprises adopt and implement frontier AI technology. You'll be responsible for building programs that will scale across global markets and segments, and developing the blueprint for how AI companies and cloud providers partner to drive joint success
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategy for our Amazon/AWS partnership, including co-selling motions, enablement programs, and joint business plans
- Lead and grow a team of partnership professionals, providing strategic direction and operational excellence
- Own forecasting, pipeline development, and revenue targets for the partnership
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships across Amazon/AWS organization
- Drive strategic planning and execution of joint marketing initiatives, including Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs) and major customer engagements
- Create and implement scalable processes for partnership operations, including escalation management and reporting
- Provide strategic market intelligence and competitive insights to inform product and business strategy
- Design and execute segment-specific sales plays and enablement programs
- Lead quarterly and annual business reviews with key stakeholders
- Identify and develop strategic opportunities to expand partnership scope and impact
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 15+ years of enterprise technology experience, with at least 8 years in strategic partnership or alliance management roles
- Proven track record of building and scaling multi-billion dollar technology partnerships
- Deep understanding of enterprise cloud services and AI/ML market dynamics
- Experience leading large, cross-functional teams in complex organizational environments
- Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Track record of developing and executing successful co-selling strategies
- Excellence in strategic planning, business operations, and program management
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales motions and channel dynamics
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
- Experience working with technical products and translating complex capabilities into business value
Strong candidates may also have:
- Previous experience working with Amazon/AWS partnerships
- Background in AI/ML technologies or enterprise software
- Experience scaling partnerships in emerging technology markets
- Track record of building enterprise GTM strategies from the ground up
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
