Ads form the core of Meta’s business and serve as a way to meaningfully connect people and businesses. The Core Delivery Products team builds the systems that match the right user to the right ad at the right time. We do this by building AI/ML systems that understand people and advertiser preferences and optimize the distribution of ads according to their value functions.We are looking for a PM to join the team and accelerate our work in optimizing ads auction, identifying new hypotheses to test, signals to onboard, models to build, and running experiments to measure their efficacy. This is a role with long-term experiments and outsized impact.
Product Manager, Ads Responsibilities:
- Set long-term product strategy and half-over-half roadmaps for the team
- Own direction, goals, metrics, and results for the team
- Understand the ads delivery stack, value creation mechanisms, technology, business, and other aspects of the ad tech ecosystem to drive global incremental revenue
- Design hypotheses and experiments to test algorithmic changes to our ads auction
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in Product Management or a closely related role, working on high growth technology products
- Experience working with a team of data scientists, engineers, and designers to synthesize data, generate hypotheses, analyze experiments, and direct a team's roadmap
- Experience delivering technical presentations to peers, partners teams, and executives
- Experience gathering requirements across diverse areas and customers, and converting and developing them into a product solution
- Analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data
- Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and design
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Advertising Technology (Ad Tech)
- Experience working with machine learning / AI products - ranking, retrieval, search, auctions, and/or other algorithmic systems
