About the role
We’re looking for a dynamic Staff Accountant to drive accurate accounting and financial reporting. You have exceptional attention to detail and enjoy finding ways to optimize processes. You take a hands-on approach and are curious about how accounting reveals the story of the business. You'll support key areas across General Ledger (GL) accounting, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and contributing to overall accounting operations. You thrive in a low structure, high impact environment where you can grow and shape the role.
What you’ll do
- Support month-end close processes including reconciling bank accounts, credit card transactions, booking journal entries and reconciling key balance sheet accounts
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals focused on accuracy and timely payments
- Prepare and issue customer invoices, verifying accuracy and compliance with contract terms
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and support collection efforts
- Assist with payment processing, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks
- Maintain organized records of transactions and documentation for audits
- Identify process improvements and assist in implementing best practices
What you’ll need
- 1+ year of public accounting experience at a top 8 accounting firm or 2+ years of accounting experience at a high growth software or technology company
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
- Highly motivated to expand knowledge and adapt to new challenges
- A passion for solving problems and simplifying complexity

Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.
Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000
