About the team
We’re the team behind ChatGPT.com, where millions of people discover, explore, and use AI every day. Our mission is to make ChatGPT as useful and approachable as possible—whether someone is trying it for the first time or returning daily. We work at the intersection of product, growth, and brand, shaping how the world understands and engages with ChatGPT.
About the role
We’re looking for a Web Designer to own the design vision and execution for ChatGPT.com. This role is critical in shaping how people and businesses discover ChatGPT online—designing pages that attract new users, explain the product’s value, and convert visitors into engaged customers. You’ll partner closely with content strategy, marketing, and engineering to create user journeys that speak to both consumers and business decision-makers. You’ll balance storytelling with clarity, usability, and performance, building scalable design systems and testing new growth surfaces to accelerate adoption.
What you'll do in this role:
Own the end-to-end design of ChatGPT.com, from top-of-funnel landing pages to product education and B2B decision-maker content.
Partner with content strategy to develop cohesive web experiences that explain ChatGPT’s value for individuals, teams, and enterprises.
Design growth-focused landing pages optimized for traffic acquisition, conversion, and SEO.
Translate complex product capabilities into clear, intuitive visual narratives for business audiences.
Develop and maintain scalable design systems, page templates, and reusable components.
Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs are built with high fidelity, performance, and accessibility.
Leverage analytics, user research, and A/B testing to inform design iterations and measure impact.
Explore and prototype new UX patterns and web experiences to improve engagement and conversion across audiences.
You might thrive in this role if:
You have 6–10+ years of experience designing for high-growth consumer and/or B2B web experiences.
You’ve designed websites where growth, funnel performance, and user acquisition were central to success.
You understand the nuances of designing for multiple audiences—balancing consumer storytelling with B2B clarity and decision-making.
You’re fluent in modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and comfortable working in close partnership with engineers.
You care deeply about usability, hierarchy, and clarity, and know how to use design to simplify complex ideas.
You thrive at the intersection of brand, growth, and product—building beautiful but conversion-minded designs.
You’re excited to run experiments, learn from data, and quickly iterate on web experiences.
Bonus: experience with enterprise marketing websites, motion/interaction design, or designing internationalized/global web properties.
