Why This Role Matters
As our Outbound Recruiter - AI Trainer Sourcing, you’ll be at the heart of strategically identifying, engaging, and recruiting a global network of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to become AI Data Trainers in their respective domains. This is a critical sourcing role—it's about designing and executing high-volume outbound strategies to build the specialized human data engine that powers next-generation LLM and GenAI solutions for Frontier Model builders and Enterprise clients. You will ensure our AI Trainer network meets the highest standards of domain expertise, quality, and scale required for complex AI projects.
What You Will Do
- Design and execute comprehensive outbound sourcing strategies to identify and engage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across diverse domains globally.
- Conduct initial assessments of candidates’ domain expertise, writing quality, and suitability for complex AI data collection and content generation tasks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AI Operations teams to understand evolving domain needs, quality standards, and talent volume requirements.
- Develop compelling and personalized outreach messages and value propositions to attract niche, top-tier domain, and writing talent.
- Unblock pipeline issues in real time, making decisive trade-offs on sourcing channels, messaging, and assessment criteria to ensure continuous flow.
- Drive innovation in sourcing and vetting methodologies, improving the efficiency and quality of the AI Trainer pool over time.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition or high-volume recruiting, with a strong emphasis on outbound sourcing and non-traditional roles (e.g., freelancers, contractors, niche experts).
- Track record of success in engaging highly specialized or niche talent (e.g., SMEs, academic professionals, expert writers).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft persuasive and professional outreach messages.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage a large, high-volume, global recruitment pipeline effectively.
- Ability to quickly understand and assess a candidate's domain proficiency and writing quality for AI Trainer tasks.
- Solid grounding in recruiting best practices, including candidate relationship management and pipeline reporting.
- Calm, detail-focused problem solver able to make thoughtful, decisive calls in fast-moving scenarios while maintaining a high standard of candidate quality.
- Extensive experience with recruiting platforms like LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and others.
Strong Plus
Experience in sourcing and recruiting for content, data labeling, or AI-related roles, or managing a global contractor pipeline across multiple platforms.
