The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Quality Control Associate to ensure the accuracy and consistency of annotated datasets for AI and machine learning projects. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor data quality, identify issues, and improve annotation workflows.
You will contribute to quality assurance processes, reporting, and team support while working in a fast-paced, global environment. This position is ideal for individuals with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in AI and data operations.
What You Will Do
Quality Assurance & Annotation Process:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of data annotation platforms, tools, and workflows.
- Ensure top-tier quality in annotated datasets across projects.
- Meet or exceed quality control KPIs for assigned tasks and projects.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Shadow and support team leads, project coordinators, and QC Associate to learn best practices for data quality assurance.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with team members, clients, and service partners to ensure smooth operations and transparent updates.
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members on tools, platforms, and processes.
Project Oversight & Problem-Solving:
- Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends and patterns in data quality issues, proactively addressing risks and proposing solutions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports, documentation, and feedback materials for internal and client use.
- Collaborate with project coordinators to streamline QA operations and reduce redundancies.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest tools, protocols, and industry advancements to enhance the QA experience.
- Provide critical feedback on platform features and processes to ensure alignment with client requirements and overall operational efficiency.
What You Will Bring
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of data/image preprocessing and annotation workflows is preferred.
- Familiarity with tools like Slack, Discord and analytics platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages is advantageous.
- Communication: Excellent command of English for effective interaction with global stakeholders (US, UK, EU).
Mindset: A proactive and passionate approach to working in the global AI landscape, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
