About the role
Working directly with our Chief People Officer and the wider people team, this position acts as a vital cog-in-the-machine for us being able to deliver Faculty's mission of transforming organisations performance through safe, impactful and human-led AI.
This role offers the unique opportunity to directly support our CPO with their daily tasks and commitments by expertly managing their diary, travel, expenses, and all other associated administrative tasks.
What you’ll be doing
As part of your day-to-day job, you can expect your key responsibilities to include:
Collaboration with your principal
Work to quickly establish a strong working relationship with the CPO
Seek to understand their professional and personal needs, requirements, priorities and objectives of his daily work
Be responsible for the effective use of the their time
Review and manage their diary and email communications, prioritising where appropriate
Hold them to account and follow up on tasks, activities to ensure deadlines are adhered to or communication is managed
Exercise discretion and confidentiality at all times
Meetings
Be accountable for the success of meetings
Take ownership of meetings agendas, rooms, guests, contributors and make sure these relative parties are organised and briefed accordingly
Track and follow up on actions
Offer hands on events support for key meetings (off sites, board meetings & other high profile events that sit in their team)
Process and Project management
Identify and suggest process improvements to the CPO
Work with the wider people team to identify potential risks and hold them accountable for completing their key objectives
Where appropriate lead, manage or contribute to internal projects
Who we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have a strong level of exposure to working as an Executive Assistant to a C-suite level of executive in a fast paced growing business.
We’ll need someone who is highly organised with excellent levels of emotional intelligence and attention to detail.
In particular you’ll:
Display strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple and varied priorities simultaneously
Bring exceptional interpersonal skills
Have a track record of building relationships with peers across a business at a wide array of levels
Show an ability to push back on requests, prioritise workloads and escalate challenges
Be able to work with a high degree of autonomy, whilst still being given the support and development needed to succeed in the role
