Your Mission
The
Director of TPM/Technical Advisor role
, reporting to the CTO
, will be to be a key leader who drives our next chapter of growth. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical communications, business management, organizational development, and cross-functional leadership skills aligned with the core responsibilities below. The candidate must have a technical background, ideally in prior product management or TPM roles. The candidate will create a TPM discipline at UiPath, starting with a small seed team. The focus of the role will be on driving technology investments and execution. You will be thinking holistically and proactively to improve the effectiveness of the overall organization, its strategy, and its processes. This role requires a highly resourceful person who is smart, strategic, and self-motivated. What You'll Do At UiPath
- Technical Strategy: You will spend time thinking about what could be in 1yrs-3yrs, working closely with senior engineering leaders in the team; identify emerging technologies & trends both in and outside the company that can help us deliver on our mission.
- Execution: You will work across the organization to define and drive a clear understanding of our service fundamentals (quality, resilience, security, modernization, agility) investments. You will ensure streamlined execution toward meeting these commitments.
- Planning: You will partner with the leadership team to manage team-wide “rhythm of business” processes, ensuring coordination across organizational and geographic boundaries.
- Communications: Drive internal communications for team meetings and other internal communications at major milestones. Plan and drive team meetings including All Hands, staff meetings and manager meetings. Drive external communications to ensure optimal customer meetings and high-quality presentations at conferences.
- Special Projects: As new business challenges arise, you will be asked to design and deliver high-impact, cross-organizational projects, and ensure they can be sustainably maintained by the organization upon completion. For example, a recent project was defining job competency definitions for engineering levels.
Successful candidates need to exhibit most of the below attributes that will enhance their ability to succeed in this role:
- Demonstrates deep analytical and strategic thinking in solving complex problems.
- Understanding cloud computing and platforms is a big plus. Deep understanding of the complexities involved with running services while innovating and taking risks.
- Highly effective in large-scale communications (written and verbal) with technical teams and collaborations across organizational boundaries. Adaptive communication approaches are required for the diverse set of audiences.
- Strong desire to improve the efficiency and execution of the team.
- Constant and curious learner that seeks out knowledge from sources within the company and across the industry.
- Versatility and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
What You'll Bring To The Team
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration, Management) AND 8+ years' experience in technical program management roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated history of engineering and/or product expertise with a proven ability to influence and inspire technical peers.
- Experience with Product or Technical Program Management at technology company
- Experience working with a globally distributed workforce
- Experience driving complex, multi-stakeholder processes and cross-team programs.
- Experience with executive communications

Pay Transparency
The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $187,500 and $281,250. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
