Role
We are looking for a VP of Sales to lead our sales organization during this pivotal growth phase. You will play a crucial role in scaling our sales efforts in the enterprise software and data sectors. As the VP of Sales, you will develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and expand market share. You will lead a high-performing global sales team and build strong relationships with key cloud partners.
Reporting to the CEO, you will collaborate with key departments like Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align sales initiatives with overall company goals. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of working 2-3 days per week in our San Francisco office.
Your Day
- Lead and manage the global sales team, driving revenue growth through direct sales and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and implement scalable sales strategies for enterprise accounts, ensuring a repeatable process to expand revenue streams.
- Build and strengthen strategic alliances with cloud and data partners, optimizing partner led sales opportunities.
- Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and tailor solutions to meet their objectives.
- Oversee sales operations, including forecasting and reporting, to ensure data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to align sales strategies and optimize overall performance.
What Is Needed To Get Started
- A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the technology sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of scaling sales teams in high-growth startup environments.
- Deep understanding of enterprise software, cloud computing, and AI sales.
- Experience co-selling with cloud and data providers
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a technical background is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with B2B SaaS sales and usage-based pricing models.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales operations tools.
- Ability to travel as required.
