Job Description
As a Federal Engagement Manager at Hebbia, you will be at the forefront of enabling the Defense Department and Federal civilian agencies to derive value from our groundbreaking AI-powered agentic platform.. This strategic role involves executing on government contracts and ensuring Hebbia delivers exceptional outcomes in the public landscape.
Your objective will cover the full lifecycle of our engagements, from pilot programs to full-scale deployments, to managing government contracts and fulfilling deliverables. This position will report to our VP of Sales.
This role is based out of our New York City office in Soho.
Responsibilities
- Mission-Centric Approach: Deeply understand government users' mission sets and challenges. Drive value by supporting existing users to maximize Hebbia's impact within their operational workflows.
- Structured Problem-Solving: Tackle ambiguous, complex government and product questions. Synthesize deep understanding of user needs, technical capabilities, and federal requirements (such as ATO processes) to ensure mission success for our defense partners.
- Define and Influence Roadmap: Shape the product's future for government applications. Bring the voice of federal customers to our product and engineering teams, strategically advising on future development and informing Programs of Record.
- Nurture Federal Presence: Help build and potentially manage a dedicated government engagement team. Focus on exceeding customer expectations and fostering long-term partnerships.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience deploying SaaS solutions within the Federal sector
- 4+ years of experience in mission-focused roles, intelligence, or government/military service
- Deep understanding of operational needs and challenges within the federal space
- Excellent relationship management skills, including with senior-level stakeholders
- Strong ownership mindset – ability to identify and address problems or white space
- Experience managing customer renewal and expansion cycles in the federal marketplace
- Bias towards action and impact, thriving in a nimble, fast-paced environment
Compensation
In consideration of market analysis and relevant factors, the salary range for this position is set between $120,000 and $200,000. However, adjustments outside of this range may be considered for candidates whose qualifications significantly differ from those outlined in the job description. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in our equity plan and benefits program. Benefits include, but not limited to: Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits, daily catered lunch, and unlimited PTO.
