Perplexity is building the next generation answer engine, empowering our users to find information in new and more effective ways. Perplexity applies LLMs for knowledge search at scale, serving millions of users across the world.
In pursuit of this mission, we are looking for LLM teachers to build recommendation systems for a more engaging, easier to use product. This role is focused on technical interactions that our users may have— i.e. questions about programming, data science, math, or related topics.
Note: This is a remote contract role paying $30 USD per hour with an expectation of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Work with our ai team to assess how well models are answering users’ technical questions
- Develop exceptional quality data under strict deadlines
- Understand complex instructions and ensure anything we produce is stylistically consistent and factual
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python and comfortable with the basics of some other common programming languages
- Ability to clearly understand and describe complex concepts
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, inventiveness, and writing ability to create content that is truthful, helpful, and engaging
- Interest in human-AI interaction
