Your Mission
In this role, you’ll be part of the team that works on the UiPath Integration Service, leading and collaborating with engineers in solving real-life challenges related to building API integrations (connectors) with complex third-party enterprise applications.
The UiPath Integration Service allows customers to create world-class UI and API automation across any app or system. Customers can choose from a large and growing catalog of curated best in class connectors like Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow — and more, and automate their workflows. Connectors are the core pieces of integration that help customers to manage data on their business systems.
What You'll Do At UiPath
- Lead an engineering team to build and maintain enterprise business API integrations at scale with heavy focus on operational and engineering excellence.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with teams and product owners across different locations to innovate and develop best-in-class features and API integrations.
- Define, promote, and ensure the adherence of best practices across UiPath technology stack and create a culture of re-use.
- Partner with peers in the Product and Design teams to craft the best building blocks, API guidelines and standards, influence roadmaps and evolve the team’s vision, mission, and strategy.
- Inspire the team and partners by bringing in new ideas to the table, defining next-generation interfaces and by providing guidance on best design practices.
- Be accountable for the software deliverables to meet all requirements of quality, security, scalability, modifiability, extensibility, testability etc.
- Continuously improve engineering and delivery practices to increase quality, velocity, productivity and to provide better visibility on the progress of work.
- Mentor the team and invest in continuous development of high-performing team of engineers by enforcing a sense of pride and ownership in the work they do.
- Retain existing talent and participate in hiring and attracting top industry talent
What You'll Bring To The Team
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- Have 12+ years of experience in leading teams and architecting & building worldclass, large scale commercial applications.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager in managing teams with high performing engineers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience in delivering critical time bound projects, managing timelines and team development.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C#, Java) with solid grasp on system design, and best engineering practices.
- Great problem-solving skills, and experience working with cloud ecosystems such as Azure and AWS.
- Familiar with modern engineering practices, including agile development, CI/CD and DevOps.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other containerization technologies.
- Experience owning highly available services and putting processes in place to enforce the live-site mentality across the team.
- Ability to understand, communicate, provide feedback on, and drive complex technical decisions.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of third-party complex API integrations such as Salesforce, Netsuite etc..
- Understanding of LLMs and the AI powered API automation.
