Waymo is looking for a experienced Program Manager to guide impactful programs within our Talent Acquisition (TA) organization. As an important member of TA Operations, you will improve recruiting processes, enhance operational efficiency, and implement solutions to support Waymo's evolving talent needs.
This hybrid role reports to the Manager, People Operations and is based in either Mountain View or San Francisco, CA.
You Will
- Translate our needs into applicable operational plans that improve recruiting processes, enhance efficiency, and maximize the team's impact. This includes managing recruiting programs, overseeing vendor relationships to ensure maximum return, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Lead projects to improve the candidate experience, from application to onboarding. This includes implementing new technologies, optimizing existing processes, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all candidates.
- Be a knowledgeable resource for candidates and the recruiting team, providing support on company programs, internal tools and policies.
- Partner with HR, IT, and Legal, to guide improvements and ensure understanding on main programs.
You Have
- 4+ years of experience in Recruiting Operations, HR Programs, or related fields, demonstrating an understanding of recruiting strategies and best practices.
- Experience designing, launching, and scaling efficient recruiting processes, implementing new technologies and process improvements, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
- Experience using data analysis tools like SQL, creating data visualizations, and applying advanced spreadsheet functionalities (e.g., Google Sheets) to interpret data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to recruiting.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, overseeing contracts, and ensuring budget adherence.
- Experience working in an environment with evolving needs and opportunities, where your contributions have made a tangible impact on our success.
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
