The Channel Account Director is responsible for achieving and surpassing sales targets by fostering and growing strategic relationships with channel partners to promote and sell Amelia, a cutting-edge conversational AI solution designed for high-volume Contact Centers. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in channel sales or partner management within the technology industry. A thorough understanding of channel ecosystems, including CCaaS platforms like Genesys, Five9, NICE, and others, is crucial.
In this role, you will:
- Develop expertise in Amelia’s solutions and value propositions, across various sectors, to drive Customer Experience transformation in large Contact Centers.
- Build, manage, qualify, and close deals within a rolling 12-month sales pipeline by leveraging channel partnerships.
- Identify and onboard new channel partners to expand Amelia’s reach and ensure consistent pipeline growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor to channel partners, providing them with the training, tools, and resources necessary to successfully promote and sell Amelia’s solutions.
- Collaborate with channel partners to identify opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies, and close deals.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing channel partners to drive repeat business and maximize partner satisfaction.
- Engage cross-functional resources (Engineering, Marketing, Proposal Development, Finance) to support channel sales efforts at the appropriate stages of the sales cycle.
- Stay informed on industry trends, partner business priorities, and competitive dynamics.
- Leverage Amelia’s Partner relationships to sell into joint clients, serving as a Prime or Subcontractor when appropriate.
- Represent Amelia at industry events, trade associations, and partner-specific conferences.
- Actively participate in the RFP process and support partners in joint proposals.
- Continuously enhance your understanding of Amelia’s solutions and sales strategies.
- Assist partners during contract negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Monitor and analyze partner performance, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Foster a collaborative environment that aligns Amelia’s goals with partner success.
We'd love to hear from you if:
- You have 15+ years of sales and/or partner management experience, specifically within corporate enterprise environments (G2000/F500) and larger organizations.
- You bring 10+ years of experience working with channel ecosystems, including Contact Centers and CCaaS platforms like Genesys, Five9, NICE, and others.
- You have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and achieving measurable success through channel partnerships.
- You have a strong understanding of partner dynamics, sales cycles, and experience working with top decision-makers and their unique challenges and opportunities.
- You excel at managing a pipeline of 20+ opportunities across multiple partners.
- You are skilled at prospecting, building relationships, and presenting solutions to C-level executives and other decision-makers.
- You can align solutions with business priorities based on partner and client discussions.
- You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- You are willing to travel as necessary to support channel partners and attend industry events.
- Have experience with autonomic and cognitive solutions, though not required.
- Plus a familiarity with analytical tools and operational business processes is highly desirable.
This United States-based position is available for remote work across all time zones, except for the listed states. SoundHound AI does not offer employment in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. While this role can be worked remotely, employees who live within a 60-mile radius of a SoundHound AI office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled, company-wide “core days” per month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000. The OTE range is $360,000 to $400,000, plus equity. In addition to salary, variable pay, and equity, you will receive comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and other benefits.
