We are looking for a senior level Corporate Accounting professional to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will support the financial close process and reporting, as well as ad hoc projects as they arise. You will work cross-functionally across the organization and solve complex problems on a regular basis. Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary preparer in month-end and quarter-end close calendar, checklist, and reconciliations, and lead the accounting team in monthly and quarter close flux presentations with management
- Ensure proper accounting procedures, internal controls, and compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and ultimately ensure accuracy of financial statements and related reports
- Take ownership and accountability over accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders
- Support the preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules, and reports in compliance with US GAAP and relevant reporting standards
- Assist with financial close tool to automate accounting processes where possible
- Assist with and prepare technical accounting areas including ASC 842, ASC 718, and others
- Assist in preparing accounting policies as needed by leveraging technical accounting guidance and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to obtain relevant information in order to form a basis for conclusions
- Collaborate with external auditors, prepare audit schedules, and ensure on-time completion of such timelines
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in startup or high-growth environments with 2+ years of experience in a public company
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or equivalent preferred
- Are proficient in NetSuite or similar accounting software
- Exhibit strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Possess a keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Are a self-starter able to work independently and meet deadlines

- Have the ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing the quality of your work product
- Be comfortable with handling ambiguity and working with minimal supervision
- Take the initiative to apply their knowledge of processes and systems and recommend well-considered improvements
- Exhibit knowledge of how to implement a change and good instinct in predicting its effects, and knowledge of how to "get it right" the first time
