YOUR MISSION
As Engineering Manager - Analytics (f/m/d)* at Parloa, you will lead a high-performing team of analytics engineers and product analysts, driving a culture of speed, collaboration, and technical excellence. Your mission is to empower cross-functional teams to build enterprise-grade data solutions, establish best practices for data quality and governance, and foster a self-serve insights culture. Establishing an embedded analytics team and championing a data mesh approach, you will enable customer-facing data impact and data-driven decision-making at scale. Your team will empower customers and internal teams to optimize the performance of our customers’ AI Agents.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Grow and lead a team of 5-7 analytics engineers and product analysts, sustaining a culture of speed, collaboration, and technical excellence
- Empower your team to deliver customer-facing enterprise-grade data solutions in close collaboration with cross-functional product teams
- Establish an embedded team setup for your analytics engineers and product analysts
- Closely work with our Data & Analytics platform team to establish best practices for data quality, compliance, transformation pipelines, and data serving
- Together with the Data & Analytics platform team, establish a data mesh and empower data producers to take ownership of data quality and data products
- Establish a self-serve insights culture for internal decision intelligence
- Develop your reports via effective feedback and provide them with growth opportunities
Our Tech stack (Data): Azure Databricks, DeltaLiveTables, Unity Catalog, Python, SQL, Preset Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Eventhubs (Kafka), OpenAI, PostHog and new tools we are currently exploring.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 7+ years of experience as an analytics engineer/data analyst and/or as a technical lead
- 4-5 years of experience as a people manager
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
- Experience with sustaining strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including executives
- Strong customer orientation - experience with building customer-facing products and establishing an embedded model for analytics is a plus
- Track record of leading teams to build highly scalable and compliant data solutions with a focus on data quality and observability
- Experience in leading large and complex technical projects (1 year+ roadmap)
