Position Overview
Dataiku is seeking a Senior Anaplan Sales Compensation Analyst to join our Strategic Finance team and drive high-impact insights that fuel growth. This position will partner globally with the sales team and help drive meaningful and strategic Anaplan initiatives. As a key member of our Finance team, you’ll balance detailed Anaplan administration and oversight with high-level strategic commissions analysis. You’ll partner cross-functionally to ensure Anaplan projects are driving business performance. This is a role for someone who thrives on curiosity, problem-solving, and making an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions to improve Anaplan finance operations.
- Use advanced analytical techniques to diagnose issues and develop actionable insights.
- Assist cross-functional teams in implementing proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals.
- Develop and present recommendations based on thorough analysis and cross-functional team interactions.
- Focus on transforming organizational needs into dynamic capabilities, leveraging best-in-class solutions across finance and analytics, planning, finance technology strategy, and ERP-enabled finance transformation.
- Build financial models and scenario analyses to flag risks, opportunities, and build strategic insights.
- Guide workforce and expense planning by monitoring trends and advising leaders.
- Assess the value of sales investments using efficiency frameworks to impact decisions.
- Optimize processes by automating reporting, standardizing practices, and scaling solutions.
- Collaborate multi-functionally with Sales Ops, Product Finance, and other teams to align on metrics and deliver results.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience building and implementing Anaplan Solutions
- Ability to translate technical features into process improvements; expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining Anaplan models and modules for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and related processes; experience with Data Hub integration and design.
- Strong skills in complex data analysis, especially for financial planning; relevant finance or similar use case experience.
- Familiarity with system implementation methodologies (requirements gathering, design, build/test, deploy), with a preference for Agile approaches; experience in creating mock-ups, or managing COE/prioritization with business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to interact with both business-oriented and IT-oriented clients.
- Understanding of financial systems and business processes; knowledge of financial planning processes and their implementations
