What You'll Do
• Support clinicians with patient coordination tasks including but not limited to:
-Pharmacy communication and prescription support
-Referrals and prior authorizations
-Scheduling and follow-up outreach
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered communication internally and externally
• Accurately and thoroughly document tasks and communications in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Identify workflow issues and escalate when needed
• Participate in team huddles and quality initiatives • Ensures compliance with HIPPA and confidentiality standards
• Other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of medical assistant experience required
• At least 1 year of prior telemedicine experience required
• Comfortable working independently and handling high-volume patient interactions
• Proficient in navigating various telehealth platforms and EHR systems and adaptable to evolving technology, including AI-driven tools and digital platforms
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment, with reliable high-speed internet access
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work weekends and assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
