The role
Lead the charge in building AI-powered experiences that redefine how people get work done. Drive a high functioning cross-functional team as you improve the model's capability and bring it to market. Dive into evals and user studies to understand the gaps and address opportunities.
Key responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Define and champion the product vision for features within Gemini, empowering users to effortlessly tackle entire projects using the power of AI.
- Translate user needs, market trends, and competitive analysis into a prioritized roadmap, delivering innovative features that redefine complex task completion.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, and Research to design and implement intuitive and delightful user experiences that leverage the full potential of Gemini's AI capabilities.
- Drive product development from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with overall Gemini strategy and Google’s AI principles.
- Partner with Marketing and Communications to effectively communicate the value proposition of complex task orchestration to target audiences.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging AI technologies and trends, identifying opportunities to enhance and expand the task orchestration toolkit within Gemini.
About you
In order to set you up for success as a Product Manager within Gemini App at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
In addition, the following would be an advantage:
- Experience building generative AI applications or agents
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, legal, marketing and other stakeholders to deliver successful products
- Proven ability to prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations to senior leadership, effectively communicating product vision and strategy
- Hands-on experience in software development or engineering, with a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to collaborate with development teams
- Demonstrated success in being a self-starter, and fostering a culture of innovation and driving exceptional results.
